CNE Belt & Road Forum

The Toronto Region Board of Trade in partnership with the Canadian National Exhibition and the Canada China Chamber of Commerce would like to invite you to our Belt & Road Forum.

The Belt & Road Initiative (BRI) is China’s largest foreign policy initiative, a once-in-a-generation infrastructure project poised to transform global commerce. It is also a rare opportunity for Canadian companies (large or small) to expand their global reach, both in the development of this infrastructure and through the access it will provide to new markets.

Date: Thursday, August 30th

Time: 9:30 am -  4 pm

Place: Beanfield Centre, Room 200 105 Princes’ Blvd. (just inside the Princes’ Gates) Exhibition Place, Toronto

Keynote Speakers include:

.         The China’s ambassador to Canada, His Excellency Lu Shaye

·         The Honourable John McCallum, Canada's Ambassador to China -- talking about Canadian Business Opportunities in China

·         The Honourable Jean Charest, former Deputy Prime Minister & Premier of Quebec --talking about the rise of the middle class in China, as well as the power of the "Canadian" brand in China

In addition to Keynote Speakers, there will also be a Panel Discussion, as well as three (3) Breakouts following Lunch -- on Energy, Infrastructure & Logistics, as well as Telecommunications & Technology.  Panelists in the Breakout Sessions are experts in their fields with on the ground experience

This Forum is a great opportunity for Canadians, and Canadian companies (large and small), to learn more about the BRI and business opportunities.
